“Sanskruti”, it is a boutique for Indian handiworks opened in Block 10, Salmiya. It sells apparel, home décor, home furnishing, fashion jewelry and such items, all of which are hand-made.

The boutique is very close to Don Bosco school, opposite Refresher’s café, on the first floor.

Timings: 10:30am to 1:30pm and 4:30pm to 8:30pm; Friday holiday.
Historically, art and craft have been the means of cultural expression of any civilization. The legendary 5000 year old civilization of India has also given rise to a wide array of hand-made arts and crafts. Skilled craftsmen and designers have created mesmerizing pieces that adorn homes, bejewel people or embellish occasions. Each part of India has its unique art form and has uniqueness also in the materials, techniques and motifs used. Our humble effort at Sanskruti, a collection of Indian handiwork, is to bring these very pretty creations from India to Indians in Kuwait toexperience the cultural beauty ofdifferent parts of India and also to our fellow Arab citizens to simply experience their magic. We open the doors in our Salmiya-Kuwait showroom to small beginnings and with the encouragement of our patrons we hope to continuously improve and even widen our offerings.

Sanskruti is the brainchild of Mrs. Shalini Subramanian, a homemaker and a nutritionist, who has the passion to promote all things Indian!
